Vaio E15, SE14 Laptops Launched in India: Price, Specifications

As the company marks its return in India, Vaio E15 and Vaio SE14 laptops have been released in India. Both laptops are bundled with Microsoft Office 365 and come with full-HD IPS displays. The Windows 10 Home-based laptops, along with Dolby Audio and Smart Amplification, also feature top-firing speakers. Vaio SE14 in the series is now on sale in markets like Malaysia. Under a licenced contract with Japan-based Vaio Corporation, the Hong Kong-based Nexstgo Company, which also sells Avita notebooks, has taken the Vaio brand back to the Indian market. The Vaio E15 and Vaio SE14 will be available through Flipkart for purchase in the region.

Vaio E15 specifications

The Vaio E15 brings back the Vaio E series that was originally launched by Sony to the Indian market. The laptop is powered by an AMD Ryzen 5 or AMD Ryzen 7 mobile processor, along with Radeon Vega 8 or Radeon RX Vega 10 graphics, and features a 15.6-inch full-HD IPS monitor with narrow bezels. DDR4 RAM and 512 GB of SSD are also included with the laptop.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, two USB 3.0 ports, Micro-HDMI, Power Distribution (PD) 3.0 charging service, and a USB Type-C port. A backlit keyboard and dual speakers also appear on the laptop. It measures 358.7×239.2×19.9 mm and weights 1.77 kg.

Vaio SE14 Specifications

A 14-inch full-HD IPS monitor with an anti-glare coating comes with the Vaio SE14. It also requires an island-style keyboard, along with spill resistance, with an optional backlit support. With 8 GB of DDR4 RAM and 512 GB of SSD, the laptop is powered by an Intel Core i5 processor. With two top-firing speakers and two down-firing speakers, it offers a four-speaker configuration.

Vaio SE14 comes with an Ergo Lift hinge in terms of construction, which, when opened, lifts the laptop to provide a perfect typing angle. As well as an HDMI port, the laptop comes with two USB Type-C and USB 3.0 ports. The battery is designed to offer up to 13 hours of use on a single charge and encourages fast charging (70 percent of battery recharge under one hour). A fingerprint scanner comes with the laptop and provides Windows Hello biometric authentication support.
