OnePlus 9 Pro can be officially IP68-rated

oneplus 9 pro

The OnePlus 9 Pro has a dust- and water-resistance ranking of IP68. The phone is supposed to be part of the Chinese company’s new flagship series that could include the vanilla OnePlus 9 and a toned-down OnePlus 9E. So far only OnePlus 8 Pro has an official IP ranking, although some OnePlus phones have had some water resistance measures in the past, such as the OnePlus 7 Pro Pro. As of now the official information on the forthcoming OnePlus 9 series has not been shared by OnePlus.

The official IP68 rating of the OnePlus 9 Pro, expected to be the top-tier OnePlus 9 series handset, would make it resistant to dust and water to a certain degree. There will be no official ranking for the vanilla OnePlus 9 or OnePlus 9E, but it is unknown whether the OnePlus will incorporate any form of water resistance to these phones.

Things To Be Expected in OnePlus 9 Pro:

  • Price- Rs 55,990/-
  • Display- 6.7”
  • Processor- Snapdragon 888 SoC
  • Variant- 12GB RAM / 256GB ROM
  • Quad Rear Camera
  • 144Hz refresh rate
  • OS- Android 11
  • 65W fast charging support

As for the OnePlus 9E, there are reports that there will be a different specification and a lower price than the other two. In the 9E model, the features and hardware will be dependent on the mid-range phone.

The OnePlus 9 series is definitely for people who like to do heavy gaming on the phone, and I guess some gamers out there have already been impressed by it. But everyone is waiting for more information and in particular, the price of this series to come to the market.
